Thanks for hanging in with us when we had problems (usually with the computers) or when we just needed moral support. These last couple of weeks and the first couple of days of this week have been EXTREMELY busy for us. We are so thankful that many of you have already been patient with us as we try our best to get you out the door with your purchases in a timely manner. With limited resources, however, that has sometimes been a challenge. We hope that the discounts you receive will be worth the wait in the end.

We will also have some lists at the store, for your convenience. We really hope that you will come through for the puppies and kitties! Thankyou.

To my Scrap Artz customers and friends:

There comes a time when all things come to an end. It’s been 2 ½ years. Here at Scrap Artz, we hope we have brought you a feeling of inspiration and creativity. Each one of you has been an important part of our success.

My loss is you all – so many customers have become friends and part of my life. As well, I’ll miss sharing my talents with you, and you with me, to reach beyond our comfort zones. We hope we instilled a sense that creating art is one of trying new mediums and techniques.

There is no way possible to tell you how thankful I am to all my staff; they have been my support beams – Susie, Lisa, Caitlin, Laura and Emily. Diana, helped with the yard sale. Martha was my daily “here for you” comforter.

So, that being said, we are, with great sadness, informing you that Scrap Artz will be closing. Starting Monday, April 7^th, we will be starting our sales. Although a final closing date has not been set, it is very unlikely that Scrap Artz will remain open past April 30^th.

Through all this, God has brought many times of laughter and blessed me with unnumbered memories that won’t be forgotten.

I know God has a new chapter for my life. Remember to reach for the stars! Don’t stop dreaming! Remember as well, it all began with a box of crayons…

Sorry, but Scrap Artz will be CLOSED on Monday, March 3rd and Tuesday, March 4th, due to personal business.

We will, however, be open bright and early (10 a.m.) on Wednesday morning, so come by to find what you need to preserve your memories or do any of your other paper crafts.

The autumn has seemed to come upon us this past weekend. Cooler weather and lots of new colors on the trees. We are reminded by this that, just around the corner, we will start our holiday season.

With this in mind, we need to correct some information on our website. Since the webmaster has not yet made the correction on the website, I thought I would give you the correct information here.

Concerning the sales after Thanksgiving:

We will be open on Friday, Nov. 23rd at 9:00 am and will remain open until 7:00 pm (NOT 8:00 pm, as published on the website). We will have lots of products on sale -- some up to 80% off! And, as an added bonus, early birds who shop with us between 9:00 and 10:00 am, will receive an additional 10% off their total sale! Early birds who are also Scrap Artz Preferred Customers (you have registered your information with us) will receive 15% off their total sale!!!

On Saturday, the same conditions will apply.

So we hope to see lots of you that weekend, so that you can get great deals for those on your gift-giving list and for making your holiday scrapbooks after the holidays are over.

Hi, everybody!

We have decided that we needed a more expedient way to keep you abreast of products & activities at Scrap Artz. So we are starting this blog.

Yes, we have a website, that gives you a calendar of events, including class schedules, class descriptions, and sale information. On our website (www.scrapartzweb.com) you will also find our Scrap Chat newsletter and lots of examples of scrapbook layouts and other art projects. And, yes, we have sent out emails, but haven't reached many of you as we hoped. We wanted a more hands-on way to alert you of events and new products and sales.

Hopefully, this blog will fill in the gap. We want this to be our "Customer Connection."

Don't forget to give yourself some time to CREATE something this weekend.
